What is VENTURO?
VENTURO is a premium overland rental company based in the coffee region of Colombia. We provide fully equipped 4x4 adventure vehicles designed for road trips, camping, and off-the-grid travel experiences.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A refundable security cash deposit is required upon pickup.
Are the vehicles insured?
Yes. All vehicles are covered by insurance according to Colombian regulations and our rental policy.
Is fuel included?
Fuel is not included. Vehicles are delivered with fuel and should be returned with the same level. (Full to Full)
Can I drive anywhere in Colombia?
You are free to explore most of Colombia. However, certain high-risk or restricted areas may not be allowed for safety or insurance reasons.
Are off-road routes allowed?
Yes - light and moderate off-road travel is allowed on legal roads and rural routes. Extreme off-roading, racing, mud competitions, or dangerous terrain are not permitted.
What happens in case of an accident?
You must contact our support team immediately. We will guide you through the necessary steps depending on the situation.
Do you offer roadside assistance?
Yes. We provide remote support and assistance coordination during your trip.
Are the vehicles GPS tracked?
Yes. Vehicles include GPS tracking for safety and operational purposes.
What happens if camping equipment is damaged?
Normal wear is expected, but lost or damaged equipment may result in additional charges depending on the situation.
Can I drive with a foreign license?
Yes. A valid foreign driver's license and passport are usually accepted for tourists.
Is airport pickup available?
The vehicle is picked up and returned in Manizales. We can also arrange a pickup service at Pereira International Airport upon request.
Do you provide route suggestions?
Yes. We can recommend routes based on your trip length and driving experience.
Is the rooftop tent easy to use?
Yes. The rooftop tent can be opened and closed in just a few minutes. Our team will explain everything during pickup.
